is the ability to create or the power to extract life from idea. The definition of creative is vague and differs from each individual but the common ideology is that anyone can be creative. Creativity is nurtured from birth and is related to innocence and ignorance. Children are believed to be most creative as they watch the world around them with unimaginable perception.
M.U.L.T.I:
the term multi in this sense infers to the fact that there is many, multi here is short for multiple.
ME.D.I.A:
Media, singular medium, basically means as a way to convey information from an initial source pr producer to a consumer, or in the case of the public , an audience.
C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E.M.U.L.T.I.ME.D.I.A:
By combining all the definitions above the term creative multimedia can mean as the ability or power to create multiple mean of portraying information from a source to an audience.
G.R.I.M.O.I.R.E:
The grimoire is a book of magick . It encompasses all prior knowledge of the magickal arts, passed down from predecessor to successor for generations.
G.R.I.M.O.I.R.E.O.F.C.R.E.A.T.I.V.E.M.U.L.T.I.M.E.D.I.A:
Contrary to the popular expectation, the above term is not referring to a book of magick pertaining to the creative multimedia, instead, grimoire in this sense means the accumulated knowledge of all the magics involved in the creative multimedia process. It is the deep sense of emotion and power behind creative multimedia and can be broken down into many aspects that build up to the tree that is creative multimedia.
When watching a movie, it invokes deep and powerful feelings within. A sad scence can bring back relate able memories of your own distant past, enabling you to connect with the film. Even though the roots of a movie is just basically around 30 still images running at one second for an average of an hour and a half, with the right audience and vision; this simple creation can bring about tears in any soul.
Another brilliant example is music. Notes rhythm, beats, tempo, melody...individually they mean little , but when strung together, they produce beautiful music that sings not only to the ear, but to the heart as well. Different songs can mean different things to different people. The magic behind music is not only in the lyrics but in the melody as well. It is the composer using music as his wand to cast the spells of emotion within people.
The paintbrush is an artist wand that paints magick on any canvas. The colors of acrylics. water, oil, poster are just colors in their raw state. But, in the hands of an artist, the simple red can mean love, a stroke of blue can be depression, the splash of green can mean envy. Every line is a powerful piece in a culmination of the magick that is artwork.
One of the most ancient creative media is words. Letters brought together to form a single meaning, placed in order to form sentences, line after line to make paragraphs and novels. The simple words with proper imagination can bring about feeling in anyone. A simple sentence "The bright sky sang comfort in the pleasant wind", a beautiful sentence that washes peace by just reading it. Shakespeare is the sage of words, his power over language is still revered upto today. But in his time, when people lacked the imagination and will to completely comprehend and appreciate the sensitivity and might of his words, viewed him as a waste of life,and his magick was lost to the future.
The play is still considered as the highest form of acting. Unlike movies, the play limits the numbers of errors of an actor, because everything is being portrayed in live action, they can be no re-takes. The actors are the wizards of the play , using their body language and words to cast the illusion, sending the audience into a surreal world, distancing and losing themselves for the length of the play, being so indulged with the performance that the world around them dis sappers in the magic of the play.
